The blood of Haiti is in my veins

It really hurts my feelings that everywhere I have been, people always seem have a negative views about Haitians. What is wrong about being Haitian? I am sitting every day hearing horrible comments about my race. Haitians are talented, beautiful and capable of doing anything that anyone can do in this world. Our country may be in a poor state now but we were the first black republic country to gain our independence. As a nation  we are very diverse;  mixed with French there are white Haitians. Hearing that people who are not very receptive about other 's cultures are shocked by this statement.  I am exhausted of people's ignorance about our native land. Yes we do have an accent however we speak three languages. I am so proud to be Haitian that why I m here to tell you about this country.
